GALERA ENTERPRISES emerged with the desire to offer a personalized learning experience designed to accommodate students of all levels, from beginners to experienced, anywhere in the world! Our methodology allows students to learn at their own pace, exploring and developing reading, listening, speaking and writing. In addition to English, Portuguese and Spanish classes, GALERA ENTERPRISES also offers voice-over work.
GALERA ENTERPRISES aims not only to teach Portuguese, English and Spanish, but also to offer the possibility for children of Brazilians living abroad to maintain contact with the Portuguese language and Brazilian culture by interacting with other children online.
We also offer voice-over work in Portuguese for the production of audiobooks.

One of the great advantages of individual classes is the freedom to choose what to do, always respecting the student's pace. We can repeat as many times as necessary, we can skip pages of books if we find it convenient. We can use an infinite number of videos, movies and music. Learning while having fun!

MY STORY
My name is Denise Galera. From a very early age traveling and experiencing different cultures have always been one of my passions. And linguistics, another. Shortly after getting my degree at Universidade Federal Fluminense, I traveled through Latin America for a few months. I ended my trip in the state of Vera Cruz, Mexico, where I lived for a year studying yoga, meditation and Spanish. After that, I moved to Los Angeles, USA, where I lived for 22 years. I worked for many years with tourism and had the opportunity to travel a lot. During this period that I lived in the USA, among many other things, I gave Portuguese classes to foreigners at a cultural center (Brazil Brazil Cultural Center) and I also gave private lessons. I did some voice-over work in the United States and Brazil (this is a third passion!). After that I returned to Brazil where I lived for several years. During this period I gave English classes to executives in private companies, and private lessons. I was already teaching online during this period! I know I was one of the precursors! I taught for a long time in a well-known franchise in Brazil, CCAA (English course).
Today I live in the Netherlands and I still do what I really like: teaching. I teach Portuguese, English and Spanish. I would love to have the opportunity to talk to you and present my methodology and work plan. Get in touch to arrange a free 30 minute interview.

I have been taking classes with Denise for a long time and I am probably her first “virtual student”. We started the classes by Skype in 2013! It was a test after I moved from Rio to São Paulo. And it worked very well!
